Sixteen – 11/25/10 – “Thankful”

I’m thankful for my wife, I’m thankful for my kids/
I’m thankful for my mind, I consider it a gift/
Tho I’m not a homeowner yet, I’m thankful for a roof/
I’m thankful for freedom, I’m thankful for the truth/
I’m thankful for a job, even though I’m unemployed/
Tho some days I am stressed, I’m thankful for joy/
I’m thankful for pain, I’m thankful for trials/
cus without them, I’ll probably die with a smile/
but that smile would be a lie, because I never was tried/
or tested, which means that my strength would be light/
and with light strength, I never could fight/
I never could maximize myself and fly/
That’s why I’m thankful for pain, for stress/
for trials, for joy, for happiness/
for the house I will own, for the job I’m gonna get/
for my mind, for my kids, for my wife, for this…
